HVAC Maintenance Plans in Garfield
A maintenance plan keeps your furnace, AC or heat pump looked after without you having to remember it. We book your spring and fall tune-ups ahead of time, give you a clear arrival window and let you know if anything changes, so upkeep fits around your week.

Regular upkeep without the reminders on your fridge
Most heating and cooling breakdowns start small: a weak capacitor, a dirty flame sensor, a clogged filter that makes the blower work twice as hard. A tune-up catches those before they turn into a cold night or a hot afternoon with no air. The trouble is that most people mean to book one and never get around to it.
Our plans take that off your list. We set your visit dates in advance, call before each one and show up in the window we gave you. Maintenance plans run from $14.99 a month with tune-ups, repair discounts and priority scheduling.
A plan is a good fit if your system is a few years old or more, if you would rather not think about it, or if you want to be near the front of the line when the first cold snap or heat wave hits and everyone calls at once.
What your plan covers
- A fall heating tune-up
- Before the cold sets in, we inspect your furnace or heat pump in heating mode. That means checking the burners or heat strips, the flame sensor and igniter, the blower, safety controls and the thermostat. On gas furnaces we also look at the venting and test for safe operation.
- A spring cooling tune-up
- Ahead of summer, we clean and inspect the outdoor unit, check refrigerant pressures, test capacitors and contactors, and clear the condensate drain. Harvest dust and cottonwood fluff pack into condenser coils, and a clean coil runs cooler and cheaper.
- Priority scheduling
- When something breaks during a busy stretch, plan members move up the list. You still get a realistic arrival window, and we call you if the day shifts.
- Repair discounts
- If a tune-up or a later visit turns up a problem, plan members pay less on the repair. You see a written quote before any work begins, so you decide with the numbers in front of you.
- A written record of every visit
- After each tune-up you get notes on what we checked, what we cleaned and anything worth watching. Those records help when you sell your home or need to show the system has been looked after.
Signs a maintenance plan makes sense for you
Your last tune-up is a blur
If you can't say when a technician last looked at your system, or it has been over a year, it is due. A plan puts it back on a steady rhythm and keeps it there.
Your energy bills keep creeping up
Dirty coils, low refrigerant and worn parts make equipment run longer to do the same job. Regular cleaning and adjustment often bring that back in line.
The system is older than about ten years
Older furnaces and AC units have more parts nearing the end of their life. Twice-yearly checks give you warning before a failure, and time to plan if a replacement is coming.
You run a heat pump or mini-split
Heat pumps and ductless mini-splits work in both seasons, so they get twice the wear of a furnace or AC alone. Both tune-ups matter for them.
You've had a breakdown at a bad time
If you have already waited through a cold night for a repair, moving up the line next time is worth a lot.
What affects the cost of a plan
Plan pricing comes down mostly to how much equipment we look after and what kind it is. We walk through it with you on the phone so you know what the plan includes before you sign up. Any repair a visit uncovers gets its own written quote.
How many systems you have
One furnace paired with central air counts as a single setup. A heat pump with a backup furnace, or a few ductless heads in different rooms, adds time to every visit.
Type of equipment
Gas furnaces, heat pumps, central air and ductless systems each have their own checklist. Equipment that runs year-round needs a full check in both seasons.
Access to the equipment
Units in a tight crawlspace or attic take longer to reach and service safely than a furnace in a basement or utility closet.
Condition and age
An older or neglected system may need extra cleaning on the first visit. After that, regular upkeep usually keeps visits shorter.
What to expect from your plan visits
- 1
Start with one phone call
Tell us what is in your home: a furnace, central air, a heat pump or a few mini-split heads. We give you a free quote on the plan, and if it fits, we choose your spring and fall dates while you are on the line.
- 2
A reminder and an arrival window
A few days before each visit, we call to confirm the date and a window you can plan around. If weather or an urgent call pushes us back, we let you know as early as we can and offer a new time.
- 3
The tune-up itself
Most visits take an hour or two per system. We work indoors and at the outdoor unit, protect your floors, and clean up when we are done. Our company holds its license and bond in Washington, and a $1M general liability insurance policy stands behind every visit to your home.
- 4
A walk-through before we leave
We tell you what we found in plain terms and leave the written notes. If something needs repair, you get a written quote first and nothing happens until you say yes.

Maintenance plan questions
What happens if a tune-up finds a problem?
We show you what we found and explain whether it needs attention now or can wait. You get a written quote with your plan discount applied before any work begins. Every repair we make carries a 1-year labor warranty.
Can I move my tune-up date?
Yes. Call us and we will find another time that works. We would rather move a visit than have you take time off for a window that no longer fits.
Does the plan include emergency help?
We offer 24/7 emergency HVAC repair, and plan members get priority scheduling when they need it. There are no emergency or after-hours fees for anyone, plan member or not.
Will regular maintenance help with my equipment warranty?
Many manufacturers expect proof of regular service to keep their parts warranty in good standing, so check your paperwork for the details. Our written visit notes give you a dated record of every tune-up.
Do you cover homes outside Garfield?
Yes. We look after systems in Garfield and the surrounding area, including Colfax, Pullman, Moscow, Cheney and Clarkston. Give us a call and we will confirm your address and set your visit dates.

Put your tune-ups on the calendar
One call sets up your plan and both visit dates for the year. We will explain what is included and what it costs before you commit.
