Commercial HVAC in Garfield
A dead rooftop unit on a busy weekday hits your staff and your customers at the same time. We repair, replace and maintain commercial heating and cooling, tell you honestly when we will arrive and fit the work around your open hours.

Heating and cooling that keeps your business running
We work on the systems small businesses depend on: rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, heat pumps and ductless units in storefronts, offices, clinics, churches and small shops. That covers repair, replacement of worn-out equipment and regular upkeep so problems show up on a service visit instead of on a busy morning.
A commercial job is different from a house call mainly because of timing. You have opening hours, employees and customers to think about. So before we start, we tell you how long the work should take, whether the space needs to close, and what happens if a part is delayed. If the plan changes, you hear it from us right away, not when you notice nobody showed up.
What our commercial service covers
- Diagnosis and repair
- We test the unit, track down the real fault and explain it without jargon. Nothing gets fixed until you have our price in writing. Once you give the go-ahead, the diagnostic fee is credited toward the repair.
- Rooftop and split system work
- Many commercial buildings run packaged rooftop units. We handle safe roof access, compressor and fan motor problems, burners, belts, contactors and controls.
- Equipment replacement
- When a unit is past saving, we size the new one for your space and how it is used, then plan the swap for a slow day or after hours. Estimates are free on installations and replacements.
- Scheduled upkeep
- Seasonal visits cover filters, coils, belts, drains, electrical checks and heating safety tests. Your visits go on a calendar you can see ahead of time, with no guessing about when the tech will arrive.
- Thermostats and controls
- Programmable and multi-zone controls can stop you from heating an empty building all weekend. We set them up and show your staff how to use them.
Signs your commercial system needs attention
Some rooms are too hot, others too cold
Uneven temperatures across a sales floor or office usually point to a failing unit or controls that need resetting.
Employees are complaining
If staff are bringing in space heaters or fans, the system is not keeping up. That is often the earliest warning you will get.
Energy bills creep up
A unit with dirty coils, a worn belt or a weak compressor runs longer to do the same work, and you pay for every extra hour.
Rapid starts or nonstop running
A system that keeps kicking on for a minute and quitting, or one that runs all day without a break, is putting heavy wear on its parts. Spotting this sooner tends to mean a smaller fix.
Water, ice or strange noises
Water near the unit, ice on refrigerant lines, squealing or grinding all deserve a call before they turn into a shutdown during business hours.
How a commercial service call goes
- 1
You call and we set a window
Tell us what is happening and when you are open. We give you an arrival window you can plan staff around, and for a breakdown we are available 24/7 with no emergency or after-hours fees.
- 2
We find the problem
Our tech checks the equipment, the controls and the power supply, then walks you through what failed and why. You get a written quote before anything is fixed.
- 3
We schedule the work around you
Small repairs are often done on the first visit. Larger jobs or replacements get a set date, an honest estimate of how long the system will be down, and a call from us if a part or delivery date shifts.
- 4
We finish and clean up
We run the system through a full cycle, haul away old parts and packaging, and leave the space ready for your customers to walk back in.

What affects the cost of commercial HVAC work
Every commercial building is set up differently, so we price each job after seeing the equipment. You get a written quote first, and nothing is added without asking you.
- Type and size of equipment
- Servicing one modest split system takes less time and fewer parts than working on a big packaged unit up on the roof. Tonnage, fuel type and how many units you run all factor in.
- Access
- Units on a roof, in a tight mechanical closet or above a drop ceiling take more time and sometimes a lift or extra safety gear.
- Parts and availability
- Common parts are often on the truck. Older or specialty equipment may need parts ordered, and we tell you the expected wait up front.
- Timing of the work
- Planning a replacement for the off season, before eastern Washington winters set in or the summer heat arrives, usually gives you more scheduling choices.
Commercial HVAC questions
Something not covered here? (509) 210-6959
Can you work before or after our business hours?
Yes. Many repairs and most replacements can be planned for early mornings, evenings or a day you are closed. We agree on the time before we come, so you are not left waiting with the doors locked.
What credentials and coverage do you carry for commercial jobs?
We are licensed and bonded in Washington and carry $1M general liability insurance. If your landlord or property manager wants proof of coverage before we start, mention it when you call and we will sort it out ahead of the visit.
What happens if a part has to be ordered?
We tell you the expected delivery date and whether we can get the system running in the meantime. If the date slips, we call you with the new one instead of letting you find out on your own.
Is there a warranty on the fixes you make for my business?
There is. Our work is backed by a 1-year labor warranty on all repairs, and that includes commercial jobs. If a fix fails within that year because of how we did it, we come back and set it right without charging you for the labor.
Do you serve businesses outside Garfield?
We work with businesses in Garfield and nearby towns including Colfax, Pullman, Cheney and Clarkston. Call and tell us where you are, and we will give you a realistic arrival window.
